Who We Are

LoGo is a group of left-leaning and progressive residents who are committed to active engagement with local government, including the Board of Commissioners, School Board, other local boards and commissions, and Delaware County Council.

Ways to Be Involved

  • Attend local government meetings

  • Share what you have learned within LoGo and H-CAN

  • Alert the group to upcoming issues and agenda items

  • Make public comments

  • Contact local officials to discuss progressive priorities

  • Write letters to the editor

  • Encourage other residents to engage with local government

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

  • Meetings of the full Board of Commissioners are typically the first and second Mondays of the month at 7:00 pm at the Haverford Municipal Building at 1014 Darby Rd.

  • Agendas must be posted here at least 24 hours in advance of a meeting.

  • Public Comments on agenda items are invited at the beginning of the meeting and public comments on non-agenda items are invited at the end. Speakers can (but are not required) to register in advance with Gloria Cugini at GCugini@havtwp.org or call (610) 446-1000 ext 2232 by noon on the meeting date.

  • Videos of past meetings can be found on Haverford Township’s YouTube Channel or meetings can be watched live on the Township Government Access Channel, #38 on Verizon and #5 on Comcast

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP SCHOOL BOARD

  • Meetings of the full School Board are the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7:30 pm; School Board committee meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30. All meetings at the Oakmont School Admin Building at 50 East Eagle Rd.

  • Agendas must be posted here at least 24 hours in advance of a meeting.

  • Public Comments on agenda items are invited at the beginning of the meeting and public comments on non-agenda items are invited at the end. Speakers should register in advance by emailing publiccomment@haverfordsd.net by 3:00 pm the day of the meeting.

  • Videos of past meetings can be found on the School Board’s YouTube channel or meetings can be watched live on the School District Government Access Channel, #40 on Verizon and #8 on Comcast.

DELAWARE COUNTY COUNCIL

  • Meetings of the full County Council are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm on the 1st Floor of the Government Center Building, 201 West Front Street, Media, PA.

  • Public Comments regarding agenda items are invited at the beginning of the meeting and comments on non-agenda items are invited at the end.
